Welcome to TaskMari. By accessing or using our platform at taskmari.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using TaskMari.

1. About TaskMari

TaskMari is a peer-to-peer task marketplace that connects Task Makers (users who post tasks) with Task Takers (users who complete tasks) in Malaysia. TaskMari does not employ Task Takers and is not a party to any agreement formed between users.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use TaskMari.
• You must be a resident of Malaysia or authorised to work in Malaysia.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@taskmari.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. TaskMari reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Platform Fees

• Platform fee: 8% of task budget, charged to the Task Maker at task completion.
• Cancellation fee: 2% of task budget charged to the party who initiates cancellation after a taker has been assigned.
• Withdrawal fee: 1% of withdrawal amount.

5. Payments and Wallet

TaskMari operates an in-platform wallet system. Task Makers must have sufficient wallet balance before accepting a Task Taker's offer. Funds are held in escrow once an offer is accepted and released to the Task Taker upon task completion approval. TaskMari is not a licensed financial institution and does not hold funds in trust.

6. Task Completion and Disputes

Task Makers have 24 hours to approve or reject submitted proof of completion. If no action is taken, payment is automatically released to the Task Taker. Disputes are reviewed by TaskMari Customer Support within 24–72 hours. TaskMari's decision on disputes is final.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent tasks or profiles.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
• Circumventing the platform to transact outside TaskMari.
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or reviews.
• Using TaskMari for any illegal purpose.

8. Account Suspension and Banning

TaskMari reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any user whose average rating falls below 3.8 stars, who receives verified reports of misconduct, or who violates these terms. No refund of wallet balance is guaranteed upon termination for cause.

9. Limitation of Liability

TaskMari is a platform intermediary and is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or any outcome of tasks performed between users. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of fees you have paid to TaskMari in the 30 days preceding any claim.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TaskMari after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.
